Public Health Preparedness and Response is a multi-faceted effort to enable emergency responders from federal, state, and local agencies to work together more effectively and efficiently to manage incidents no matter what the cause, size, or complexity. It involves planning for detection, prevention, response, and mitigation of natural and manmade disasters, emergencies, and terrorism events that impact the public's health.
