The Campership Program is a one-week summer camp program for foster children served in Sacramento County Child Protective Services Division in the Department of Health and Human Services. Referred by their case social workers, foster children can go to a day camp in the Sacramento area or a camping program in the Sierra wilderness. The Volunteer and Student Intern Services Office coordinates this program with the foster children's social workers.
Campership is made possible by private donations so that the foster children can attend camp for free. If you would like to make a donation, please call (916) 875-2027, or email Tammy Liu at LiuT@Saccounty.net
