A guide to free and low-cost social services offered by faith-based organizations and community groups is available online.

The second edition of the Sacramento Valley Faith-Based Community Resource Guide lists services including food and clothing closets, daycare and after-school programs, parenting classes, personal and employment counseling, support for people with drug  and alcohol issues, and other services.

The guide is the product of collaboration between Casey Family Programs, Sacramento County Child Protective Services, and the Sacramento Valley Region Care Coalition.

If you’re interested in becoming a resource partner or would like additional information, contact the coalition at (916) 856-5605 or by visiting www.sacvalleycares.org

A small number of printed copies are available. Contact Alicia Blanco at blanca@saccounty.net to request one.
