COUNTY MEDICALLY INDIGENT SERVICES PROGRAM (CMISP)
The Sacramento CMISP is a program of “last resort” designed to meet the healthcare needs of residents of our County who are not otherwise eligible for healthcare programs such as Medi-Cal, Medicare, or private health insurance.
All recipients of General Assistance (GA) are automatically eligible for CMISP Clinic Services. Other persons who need to apply for CMISP may do so at the time they request medical services at the Sacramento County Health Center Clinics:

Applicants must meet the eligibility standards determined by the Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance (DHA). Some patients will be charged a monthly share-of-cost.

May be approved up to twelve (12) months at a time; clients may reapply should the medical condition persist.
