The Department of Health and Human Services has seven divisions that offer many volunteer opportunities for interested persons. Volunteer opportunities range in clerical, transportation, administrative and school- based programs. Interested individuals are encouraged to call (916) 875-2027 or (916) 875-2026, for a volunteer application.
Student Internship ProgramThe Student Internship Placement Program in the Department of Health and Human Services, offers local state and community college students, an educational and professional placement opportunity. Referrals are made through the professional schools at the local state and community colleges. Acceptance into the Department program is contingent upon available slots.
